Eduardo Sirotsky Melzer is the Chairman and President of the RBS Group. A family media conglomerate that offers entertainment and journalism through newspapers, radio, internet portal and television. Duda is also the chairman and founder of e.Bricks Digital which is a digital investing company in business development.
RBS Group was founded by Duda Melzer’s grandfather, Maurício Sirotsky Sobrinho in 1957. Currently, the firm owns three newspapers and more than fifteen radio stations. In the digital world, they are represented by e.Bricks. e.Bricks primary focus is e-commerce, digital media and technology and mobile.

In an article on Estadao, Eduardo Sirotsky Melzer’s career at RBS Group has been exciting as he started as the national market’s Director General. In 2008, he was promoted to Vice President of market and business development. Two years later, he became the Executive Vice President of the company and then the CEO. In 2016 is when he attained his current position as the Chairman and President of RBS Group. Under his management, the company together with Google and Globo, have been named the three media and internet organizations that generate the most value for audience among other received recognition. He gets his inspiration from John Davis, Ram Charan, and Jim Collins, who are all influential entrepreneurs.
Melzer’s earlier career
Before joining the firm, Duda Melzer had worked at Delphi Corporation as the Senior Financial Analyst and BoxTop Media as Director General. Earlier, he had worked as a master franchisor of the multinational Sweet Sweet Way and participated in the Booz Allen & Hamilton’ projects.
Duda graduated from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio Grande do Sul with a Bachelor in Business Administration. He later went to Harvard Business school where he did his Master’s in Business Administration and two other executive courses.
